Silver Service drivers are selected on the basis of their commitment and proven track record in the provision of a high level of customer service. It is the aim of our Silver Service drivers to provide a professional and superior service at all times.

Every Silver Service driver is expected to be courteous, helpful and to present with a high standard of personal grooming at all times. Silver Service drivers are required to wear the the Silver Service Uniform. This consists of a distinctive white shirt with specialised Silver Service eppalettes at the shoulders. Silver Service drivers may wear black or navy trousers, or our lady drivers may also wear a similairly coloured skirt. The Silver Service uniform includes a distinctive navy silver service tie.

Every Silver Service booking will include a contact number for the client. Once a driver has a Silver Service booking they will ring the client, introduce themselves, and quote a realistic estimated time to arrive (ETA). We understand that punctuality is of the utmost importance to our Silver Service clients.

Every Silver Service driver must have a thorough knowledge of the Melbourne Metropolitain area, and be familiar with the "Taxi Regulations 1994".

All Silver Service luxury vehicles are required to have a fully operational EFTPOS. Unfortunatly our Silver Service drivers are unable to supply a cash out facility. Should you require an ATM on route, advise your Silver Service driver and they will do there best to locate one for you.

If we are unable to supply our clients with a Silver Service vehicle, due to high demand, a Silver Care driver will be dispatched as soon as possible. (Our Silver Care drivers are our premium service drivers, with extensive experience, that are operating a regular vehicle as a taxi, usually a Toyota Avalon, Ford Falcon, or Holden Commodore) Of course the Silver Service $11 surcharge does NOT apply.

Silver Service Luxury Vehicles

Luxury Vehicles for that extra level of comfort.

Silver Service Luxury Vehicles are primarily the Holden Statesman, and the Ford Fairlane or Ford LTD. These Vehicles offer levels of opulance and refinements that were previously undreamed of in commercial client transport. Features may include generous passenger legroom, Dual Climate Control systems, Leather Seating, whisper quiet ride, advanced sound system.

Payment Methods

All Silver Service vehicles are equipped with EFTPOS machines and are able to accept the following Cards:-

Cabcharge, American Express, Diners Club, Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, MotorPass and JCB Cards. These cards attract a 10% Service Fee.

Silver Top Taxi Service Ltd does not own, or have any beneficial interest, in any vehicles operating as taxis under the Silver Top or Silver Service banner. Silver Top Taxi Service Ltd provides Communications Services to the Taxi industry..
