$3.20 when meter has started

$1.617 per kilometer

Detention:

$0.566 per minute while vehicle speed is below 21 kph

Extras:

Entered on meter at start of trip when applicable

Phone Booking:

$2.00 entered on the taxi-meter at the start of the trip.

Late Night Surcharge:

A 20% surcharge applies to all hiring's which commence between midnight and 5.00 am and is automatically calculated and displayed on the taxi-meter

Multiple Hiring :

is allowed with the consent of the first and subsequent hirers. Each Hirer pays 75% of the fare shown on the meter at the end of their particular section of the trip.

Silver Service Vehicles

In addition to the Standard Hiring Fare (See above) an $11 surcharge is added to the fare, reflect a superior level of service and vehicle comfort being supplied to our customer.

Wheelchair Accessible Taxis

For customers with a Wheelchair, some vehicle may accommodate 2 wheelchairs, up to 5 passengers.
For wheelchair passengers holding a Multi Purpose Taxi Program M31 card there is a $10 Lifting fee paid electronically to the driver by the Victorian Taxi Directorate in order to compensate them for the extra time involved in safely loading and unloading wheelchair passengers. This fee is Not paid by the passengers.

Shuttle Vehicles

Single hiring for 5 or more passengers; or Non-wheelchair hiring where the hirer specifically requests a larger than standard taxi-cab regardless of the number of passengers carried.

Multiple Hiring :

Is not applicable to hirings for 6 or more passengers.

Once hailed, a driver cannot refuse a fare that is too short or inconvenient. Drivers may indicate at the end of a shift that they will only accept fares to destinations which are on the way to the taxi-cab's home base. The driver will display a sign which indicates the relevant destination.
